When you are a lady you often have chafing in between your thighs in the summer months. Not always, but when it gets hot, you get sweaty and the sweat and thighs rubbing together are never a good mix. And chafing is painful! Since I love to wear skirts I had to find a solution. I love skirts and the breath-ability they provide in the summer months.
How do I stop the chafing?? Well, I have tried a few things… some worked and some didn’t!
The first thing I tried was baby powder… no. It just becomes a mess!
Then I tried the stick that runners use, body glide. That worked pretty well, but I still felt sticky and kind of icky when wearing it.
Then I tried Skin by Body Glide, this one worked better and felt more like I was putting on a liquid baby powder. I did have to re-apply half way through the day though, so it didn’t last as long as I wanted it to!
Finally I tried some slip shorts… I use the Jockey ones — they seem to be the best price out there for the same stuff:) I would love to find cotton pairs that hold their shape. One of the reason I like these the best is that they come up over my belly and are super comfortable. I don’t have to deal with them falling down or anything:) But the legs occasionally do ride up and I have to fix those during the day. But that is way easier than reapplying body glide!
I also love that these are a short to wear under my skirt… this means if I am not crossing my legs or I need to bend over etc I don’t flash anyone!
I want to try the Undersummers and Bandelettes… have any of you tried them??
