A Review of the Plus Size Stitch Fix
Well, I tried it. Stitch Fix! I was a little annoyed at first — it takes a LONG time to get your first box and Dia & Co could get me one in a week. But, I held off judgement until I actually received the box from Stitch Fix! So, join me on this adventure and enjoy this Review of the Plus Size Stitch Fix box I received!
In my box I received 5 items, two tops, Skinny Pants, a necklace and a printed bomber jacket. The cuts and colors and prints were all on point for summer and the current style trends, without being too trendy! The notes included in my box specifically cited that I wear a lot of Thrift Store — and they really took the time to think about what the pieces they were sending me could go with that was already in my closet. I appreciated this so much, especially after the last Dia & Co box I received (which was so bad I could not even write about it!)
So what did I get?? And how did I wear it?? And What am I keeping?? Well, let me tell you!!
First up I have this amazing Green Tunic… This was love as soon as I saw it and noticed that they said, hey wear this with some of your fun printed leggings:) They also sent the necklace I am wearing. It’s silver, and long and has some sparkle. Both of these are winners and staying in my closet!!
The necklace is by Bancroft and is called the Taron Station Necklace. I love the little clusters of bling and the length is perfect!!
The Tunic is by 41HAWTHORN, the Karie Split Neck Blouse in size
3X. Everything about this is perfect! The fit is nice and loose, but not too oversized and the length is perfect for leggings:) I tried it with a Cassie Skirt and that looked amazing too:)
Next up we have the Bomber Jacket… even as I write this I am not sure if I am keeping it. I love it… but it is a little looser than I want it to be. I can exchange it for a smaller size. But I don’t know… I am so indecisive on this. So it will probably go back. But it is so so cute!
The jacket by FULL FIGURED FASHIONISTA (F3) is the Nirel Printed Bomber Jacket in size 3X is soft and flowy and has pockets! It is amazing… If it was just a little more fitted I would LOVE it and it would totally stay in my closet:)
Next up is this cross body top. It is knitted and kind of heavy, though a sleeveless. This was the item I was least happy with, but it is still cute and actually looks pretty good on! The top looked super cute with the azure I tried it with and would have been cute with a maxi or even a Cassie skirt… Natalia really took the time to think about what she was sending me.
This top is also by 41Hawthorne and is the Benni Crossfront Knit Top in size 3x. I am sending this one back for sure — the heavy knit and the drape is not my fav. Also, I don’t wear a ton of navy… so I actually had to take something from my inventory to try it with!
Finally we have the bright yellow skinnies! These are so out of my comfort zone… and they fit ok. But I am not in love. I love skinny jeans… but I like them with a higher rise than these had. The bonus is that the skinnies went with everything in my box — so hey, I may need to find some yellow pants!
I am wearing the Kut From the Cloth Candace Split Hem Skinny Jean in Size 3x with the Wrap top and the Bomber Jacket! Super cute outfit and I would totally wear this:)
Overall, I am super pleased with my box… I felt like the stylist really took the time to get me things I would enjoy and wear and that would go with what is in my closet.
